Hammersmith Tattoo is looking for a loyal apprentice to join the team.
We require a capable artist with a strong portfolio, a basic knowledge of tattoo styles and the ability to draw a wide range of them. Already good knowledge of the industry is preferable. You must be driven, approachable and confident with an excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills. We are looking for someone reliable and punctual with good personal hygiene.
Your primary duties will include cleaning and sterilizing the studios/artists equipment, making and managing bookings and advising customers. You will be expected to assist the artists and make their lives easier where you can. When you are not doing these things, you must be drawing and developing your skill.
This is a full-time position; you will be expected to work 5 days a week starting at 10:30 am and leaving the shop late.
The apprenticeship will last around 2 years, and you will not pick up a machine for at least 6 months. This is an unpaid apprenticeship, and you must find a way to support yourself during this time.
You must trust us and be willing to give 100% to the position and shop.
